Exchanges Returns?

At this time we can only accept exchanges for vintage items on a case-by-case basis. The client is responsible for the return shipping to our storage facility in Westchester, New York.

All artwork is final sale.

Where are your pieces sourced from?

Our unique collection is sourced from North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

Do you offer sourcing services ?

Yes! Galerie Else was founded by an interior designer with a passion for sourcing. If we do not have what you’re looking for, please contact us at galerie@galerie-else.com and we will put together a formal quotation for our sourcing services.

What is the condition of your vintage products?

We only source vintage furniture items that have a structurally sound foundation. Items in need of reupholstery are brought to our local workroom where we evaluate and re-work everything from the springs to the passementerie. As you will see in our collection, certain pieces are restored and wrapped in muslin. These items are finished this way so that our clients can make a custom fabric selection, making it uniquely theirs.

Items such as accessories, decorative objects, mirrors, and case goods are in vintage condition and may possess patina, aging, and imperfections. Please be sure to carefully review our images and product descriptions prior to purchasing.

Do you offer re-upholstery services?

Yes! We encourage you to contact us for further information about the possibilities for reupholstering. We offer a selection of graded-in fabrics and leathers to choose from and can also assist in making a custom selection from pre-approved material vendors. We only work with our local trusted workroom (Westchester, NY) for the upholstery work.

Please Note: A $100.00 fee will be applied to the order for transport of the furniture item from our warehouse to the workroom. The customer is responsible for the full shipping cost from the workroom to their home or project.

Do you offer trade accounts for professionals?

At this time, the maximum discount we can offer on a single item is 10%, however if your or your client is looking to purchase more than one item we can be more competitive.

We also are able to offer our upholstery items for in-home approvals and sit tests. We currently offer this service exclusively for for clients and customers in the following areas: Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens, Jersey City, Hoboken, Nyack, and Westchester County.

Please Note: Clients and customers are responsible for arranging pick-up and delivery, as well as all associated costs.
